A Westchester County jury found both a defendant driver as well as a township completely responsible for a motor vehicle accident where there was a missing traffic signal at the intersection where our client was struck while going through a green light. The client was a 62 year old female who undercent anterior cervical discectomy and fusion as a result of the accident. The defense argued that the injuries were unrelated given her age, degeneration and more than 5 years of documented prior chronic pain as well as prior recommendation for surgery. The jury refused to believe the defense and sided with Voldz law in awarding the client this just sum for her pain and suffering.
